Training for each designated EVC for every school and youth service area.
The one day DfE approved and certificated course, covers the management checks
and procedures recommended by DfE, Local Authorities and most school employers.

The training programme is developed by the Panel, who were involved in producing draft guidance for the DfES, on Standards for LEAs in Overseeing Educational Visits and Standards for Adventure, between September 2001 and March 2002. The guidance complements the DfES publication "Health and Safety of Pupils on Educational Visits" (HASPEV) produced by the DfES in 1998.

The training programme is overseen and endorsed by the OEAP.
It is training suitable and appropriate for all schools whether within an LA or Academies and Independent schools.
All are welcome to access this training through a local authority, or through courses found on the training website.
